Bonnie Tyler Picture
Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins on June 8, 1951 in Skewen, Neath) is a Welsh singer. Born into a large working-class family of six children, her father worked as a miner while her mother, an opera fan, shared her love of music with her children. Influenced by the music of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner, as a teen she sang with a group called "Bobby Wayne and the Dixies," following which she formed her own band, calling it Imagination. Adopting different stage names until settling on Bonnie Tyler, for nearly a decade she and her band performed at pubs and nightclubs all over South Wales. In 1975 Bonnie Tyler recorded her first single for RCA Records called "My My Honeycomb" that failed to make the charts.

Bad Dreams Lyrics

Bonnie Tyler

She was the black sheep of her family
She was a rebel - loved living free
She gave her loving - fast as the wind
Shed give it all - again and again
Sometimes mean - sometimes kind
The more shed look - the less shed find
She never knew what was right or wrong
Never knowing where her heart belonged
* bad dreams, blue tears and mixed emotions
Search for a heart that cant be broken
Shes walking down an endless street
Her bodys burning with the heat
Bad dreams, blue tears and mixed emotions
Search for a heart that cant be broken
Shes walking down an endless street
Her bodys burning with the heat
Shed loved him once - but then they had a fight
The tables turning - now shes cold as ice
Still searching after all these years
This lady has cried a million tears
She was the hero of the lost and found
Shell pickm up - shell putm down
Shes at the wrong place - at the right time
Stone cold woman - youre way outta line
*repeat
